Fallout New Vegas Crash

Hey Guys i have recently uninstalled fallout new Vegas due to conflicts between mods, then i reinstalled it using only a couple of the mods that require nothing other than the FalloutNV.esm and will not launch via: FOMM (with NVSE) and the original fallout launcher clean of mods, i have tried uninstalling the game 4 times already and verify the games cache multiple times, i have deleted the fallout documents folder containing the fallout INI and re downloaded the folder via the launcher,i have tried the the .dll fix from the fallout new Vegas nexus and modifying the INI, none are working. when ever i launch it, the game either crashes at: the Bethesda slide or the obsidian slide. i have tried using system restore to go back 4 days and still wont work. if this helps i can still run games like fallout 3, skyrim and l4d2 but fallout new Vegas is a no go.

FNV is installed inside Steam, so un-install steam an then install it somewhere else besides the default install location. Then learn how to clean your registry. Norton has a registry cleaner, but it's lightweight. Try Registry Mechanic which is a real hardcore cleaner. When you download a mod put that in a folder, in subfolders based of what the mod does. After you install the mod, keep the download but move it to a folder named installed. That way you always got a record of what you installed, an can manually remove it if needed. For example if you installed 652 mods but that last mod ended up breaking the game. It wouldn't be very smart to start over.

When you say "due to conflicts between mods" what is it that you mean?

 

 

i meant like conflicts like big town redone and a mod confliuct the supposed to go throw the vanilla version, but not just new vegas aswella s fallout 3 has stopped working i have norton 360 and this registry cleaner is not working so i have decided to restore my computer to system defaults, i'll let u know what happens
