flamehearts
Greetings everyone, I am quite new to TesNexus, and must say that this site is The Number One on my Oblivion Resources list. Why I am here is because no matter what I do, what system I use, My CS crashes on startup. That is why I made a design in MS Paint of a castle I was long searching for, and due to nothing similar, I decided to request it here. Name: Kvaldir Mercenary Station.Location: Anywhere in a short distance from any minor city, Preferably somewhere In Colovian Highlands, close to Chorrol. Borders are disabled so you may feel free to build out of borders.Requirements: A fast travel icon available from the beginning (without locating it first), and an access path from any city or Road. NO SHIVERING ISLES expansion items. The Castle is designed to work with Oblivion Patch 1.1.511. No npcs needed, though you may add some Servants Or a Stablehand. NO SOLDIERS. I am in a serious need of this castle, and after it is done it may be uploaded on any TeS Resource site, with FULL credit of creation belonging to the Modder that will build it.----------------------------------------------------------------The building: Outside a medium-sized stable with a couple of horses. The building must be externally proportional to the interior.(Images provided with more info) First comes the entrance:A small room outfitted with some light Sources (candlesticks if you will), a desk with some paperwork and a chair. Somewhat detailed view in the Pictures. The mess hall. The entrance, or lobby if you will, has one dor leading to a fairly large hall with 3 tables (instructions, again, in the pictures). The kitchen is just a small room filled with food, some cooking fire, and some alcohol, in kegs and such. The servant quarters are just 7 beds, 3 in a row and 1 in head, which may be slightly better looking than the rest. The barracks:The barracks consist of 22 beds, proportions on the pictures may be incorrect, yet if more beds can fit, I still need only 22. Barracks should be safe for storage. The basement:The basement consists of a corridor with 1 door on each side and 1 at the end. Those are: To the left - The science room, To the right - the armory. And in the center - the training room. The science room (instructions below) Oh almost forgot - All items in the fort should be owned by Player/Nobody, so as not to "Steal", just take. flamehearts
The Armory and The Training room. Armory to the side of the basement Hallway, and Training room - in the center. You may or may not make those separate cells. Armory: Training Room:
Balakirev
I think you're going to find that most people prefer modding their own castles, upon their own specifications. It takes a ton of work, usually months. If you'd simply asked for a one-room shack, that would be different, but obviously your needs are greater. I am in a serious need of this castle, and after it is done it may be uploaded on any TeS Resource site, with FULL credit of creation belonging to the Modder that will build it. Well, sure it may be uploaded wherever the modder who does it wants. After all, it's theirs. They built it, they own it. Another reason to do it yourself: you'll own (within the limits imposed by Bethsoft) the results. I know you're having CS loading issues, but that's something I'm sure the people here could help with if you ask over in the Oblivion troubleshooting forum. Best of luck, regardless. If you go the modding route, you'll find plenty of tutorials on modding around the Web, and lots of modding veterans to offer suggestions for how to get things done. And nothing beats the pleasure of seeing the results of one's own efforts, when finished. :)
