Hi guys, here's my problem:

I downloaded the shining paladin set which replaces the steel plate helmet and the ebony armor/boots/gauntlets. For consistency, I wanted to make the set replace only the steel plate set, so I used the BSA browser to grab the ebony set (without helm), renamed it and placed it in \Data\meshes\armor\nordplate. I also took the shining paladin textures, renamed them appropriately and put them in the nordplate textures folder. What I have now is a steel plate set that looks like an ebony set with a shining paladin helmet. What does work is the inventory screen, where the previews for the items all look like the shining paladin stuff.

 

I'm obviously new to modding, but to me it seems likely that the meshes contain some information that is still pointing to the original ebony textures. Is that something I can fix, or is there some other approach here that I should use?

You would have to use Nifskope to change the ebony texture, or you could replace the \armor\ebony textures with the paladin ones, that would replace all ebony textures Edited by Guazzelli
