Vlindrels curse help

Hi guys, I know this is my first post, i'm more of a reader/player but bear with me.

A while back i completed the knights of the nine group of quests. killed off the cheap sauron knockoff and smacked him down above imperial city, all good. But later, i felt like i wanted the higher level version of the crusader gear + sword, mace etc. As a result, i didn't read the faq thoroughly and i gave myself the crusader sword, cursed version., which yes, I then equipped. Since the quest is already completed, i cannot reconsecrate the sword and thus cannot remove the curse.

 

My question is, does anyone know an alternate way of removing said curse? My last savepoint is 4 levels and a dozen new mods back, so i 'd really rather not go there (i didn't realise the full extent of the damage till i've moved about a bit.. i know, n00bish).

Don't know how to help with the sword, but if you have cheap quest items and want the high level items of that item, just get the quest award leveling mod. It keeps on making your items better whenever you level up.

UESP has a fairly comprehensive guide to the use of the console. Or you can google 'Oblivion Console cheats' for more. If that doesn't help you could save - click off KOTN - which ought to solve the problem, though I don't guarantee it, save again and click KOTN back. It will mean the KOTN quest appears as a new one but it may be less of a problem repeating it than going back four levels etc. And of course you'll get the sword you want at a higher level anyway.
