bdovpro
I'm looking for a way to modify summoned creatures stats, particularly the Conjure Familiar spirit wolf. Using SkyEdit I've been able to edit things like cost, duration, name, etc... but I cant figure out how to boost the spirit wolfs stats so he doesn't get one shot by everything even on Novice difficulty. I would assume that the conjure familiar uses the C06WolfSpiritRace as a dmg and defense template but I cant figure out what to edit to give it some hit points or raise its defense. At this point I would be happy if anyone could tell me how to just set it as essential. Any thoughts?
Sunnie
You need to modify the actual NPC_ record for that creature, you can't do that currently with SkyEdit. The creature you are looking for is EncSummonFamiliar

The creature you are looking for is EncSummonFamiliar ah right that makes a lot more sense, I see were the link to it is in SkyEdit. Thanks very much. So, I went and edited the actual NPC_ record using the Skyrim NPC Editor and changes like different voices(female argonian voice on a wolf. Awsome.) and changes to stats like sneak, keep and apply but changes to health or stamina do not. Does the familiar's health and stamina change based on player level or conjuration skill? Sunnie
Does the familiar's health and stamina change based on player level or conjuration skill?I have never tested that, so I don't really know. Should be easy to test though.
bdovpro
hmmm...looks like its not based on conjuration skill, player health/mana/stamina, or level. And now the health/mana/stamina changes for encSummonFamiliar are keeping there modified values. Im not sure what else the creatures values could be based on. bdovpro
So I have been playing around with TESVSnip editing the actual NPC_ record but it seems no matter what I do the stats don't change anything. My familiar still gets one shot by novice difficulty creatures. On TESVSnip I've found the record for stats under: NPC_(EncSummonFamiliar) subrecord DNAM I have been able to change voice overs, duration time, spell cost, and size of the wolf so I know my mod must be loading with correct values.
