D1sl3xicpanda
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39759 the file comes in three nif's, but they're not like the normal body ones D: I'm not a good modder at all, so i have no idea what to do with them. they come in full1, full2, and full3 but i only know how to put files in the place they go. i put this is the male_ file in meshes>characters>male_ thing, but it does nothing. could someone please explain how to use the mod? :S
DrakeTheDragon
Hmm, can't help much with this, unfortunately. The author mentions it's "not" a body replacer in the 3rd paragraph of the description. It's only meant as a resource, you'll have to put these 3 fullbody meshes into the game as equippable items yourself. That's about all I can get from the description page. D1sl3xicpanda
oh darn x.x... i seemed to have missed that part :( that's sad.. I wish i know how to do that >.< thanks, though! that would explain why there was some confusion :L
Nephenee13
The main use for something like this would be to create "pregnant" clothing. A pregnant body mesh is of limited utility.
Septfox
Separating the body into the required pieces (Upper, Lower, Hand, Foot) for use as a replacer isn't all that difficult, really. I could do it for you real quick if you like. But keep in mind that this is the basic body; what you would see if your character had no clothing on. Any armor or clothing you would want to wear would have to be custom-fit to the body, since Oblivion doesn't automatically scale/conform armor and clothing to the base body (fun fact: most outfit makers include pieces of the body they've conformed their outfit to, to reduce clipping and make the outfit useable even in the event that the player has a different body type installed). So yea. I'll snip the body into pieces for you if you like, but you'll need to convert outfits yourself or ask someone proficient in doing so for help. I decided to futz around with this for lulz, so I might actually have something, though getting meshes around that belly is quite a challenge. Its a very well done mesh though, kudos to larrymtc for his work. Even if types 2 and 3 are really quite ridiculous. I don't know if I'll ever have something releasable, or what in the world someone would do with it (other than what Better Cities does with the existing pregnant dress) but hey, gives me a chance to try out some new stuff. Oh yeah, and the hands and feet are already separate, and I believe are just normal HGEC hands and feet (though I already converted it to fit DMRA hands/feet, which is just about the closest "normal" bodytype to this), not sure just where you'd want to make the waist seam though... Septfox
Yea, now that I look closer (and am not in dire need of sleep) the wrist seams are pretty obvious. As for where to snip, as far as I know there's no real need to go for standard areas (the waist in this case), it should work fine as long as there's two separate pieces for the engine to mate together. Soooo go for the thighs maybe, since there should be some relatively clear places to separate the mesh there? Or perhaps mid-belly, around the belly button. Also keep in mind that if it's part of a full-body outfit, the mesh can be left as a single piece and work perfectly fine, since it's effectively replacing the body anyway.
