Organization of new models/textures/meshes

There are now more and more MODs that are coming out that include new equipment and textures to go with the mod/esp/esm.

I suggest a standard of organization now so we can stay on top of any troubleshooting that needs to be done. It is becoming a mess with some meshes in mod label and some meshes in the standard folders and the same for textures.

My suggestion is simple...

place all meshes/textures in a folder with the name of the MOD and link them that way.

it will take a lot less research and quite frankly overall be much smoother to do it this way and excluding straight replacers it is not that difficult to do since a mesh is simply a link.

IF the way things are continues then in a months time or so we will have so many textures and meshes in so many differing folders with so many names that make no sense. And since installation instructions and readmes are seriously lacking we end up having to dig around and figure out what the problems are if things get mismatched or need to be fully removed.

thats all..

thanks

They have to been in that format for the game to find them. It was like that for Oblivion, F3, and FNV.
