valdir
I've had this idea for awhile. The mod would be take place on an Arthurian forest island where there is one big rural town with a complex wilderness and a small highlands area. Then I start borrowing from GTA3. You're fresh out of prison (after being put there because of your criminal activity) and you're looking to make some more money. You can go down the dark path (assassin, theif, rogue) or you can chose the light path (knight, paladin, cleric) and you do jobs according to your class. Examples- Assassin: Killing a respected member of the communityTheif: Robbing a respected member of the community ^_^ Rogue: Stopping a lightly guarded caravan and looting it of its goodsKnight: Rescue a damsel in distress :D Paladin: Rescue the damsel, then smite the tangible evil around the tower she was trapped inCleric: Curing whatever disease happens to be "plaguing" the land *doh!* The job system would be borrowed from GTA also. Say you do a job for Boss A, and in doing so you meet Boss B. Boss A has a few more jobs for you, but Boss B will have more jobs for you once your done. While youre doing jobs for Boss B, Boss C offers you to do jobs that involve foiling the plans of his rival, Boss D. And so on and so on... Also, doing jobs on one class-path will lock jobs in other class paths. So if you do a job in the Knight path, you can't do jobs in the Paladin path, but you can do jobs in the Cleric path. Paladins can't do Cleric path jobs, but they can do Knight class jobs. Assassins can't do theif jobs, but theives cant do rogue class jobs, and so on. While it might not seem logical, it forces you to play through with more than one character :) Feel free to borrow concepts, just make sure you tell me. -val
