mgone
Hi All, Everyone's work here is remarkable, I speak to all new coders as well as veteran modders . . . Thanks for all your hard work.Listen, I am having difficulties with respect to updated mods and revision numbers. Sorry for using you David as an example, I do so much love your team's work. For instance, "A World of Pain"Updated: 01/21/12File name: A_World_Of_Pain_Main_File_V4-38719-4-0.7zFile Size: 3,469,618 Bytes "A World of Pain" Updated: 12/6/2011File Name: A_World_Of_Pain_Main_File_V4-38719-4-0.7zFile Size: 3,469,618 Bytes I do understand that at compilation time, a file can have the same size, it's just the file names that gets me. Without uniquely different revision numbers, I find it difficult to keep track. You see, if I find a glitch in a particular mod, I like to refer back to the older file. When they have the same name, I have to rename each new download. Not that this is not a big deal, I just seems to not be a clean method for revision handling. Does anyone else find this or other aspects of files descriptions troubling? Mgone
Fatalmasterpiece
Yes I do as well though often there is the exact opposite problem, like downloading a file which has a version number but not name. Weeks later I'm like, wtf is this?
