Model Load Error

Can someone tell me why an error comes up when i try to load some nifs in the CS?? This happens with ALL custom meshes, even ones i download from here, and some of the original game nifs, which is even stranger because most of them work, while others don't.

This is the error :wallbash:

Fade Node [weapons\myweapons\sword4.nif] model load error

Will use default marker instead

This is followed by the normal contiue executable message.

Then another error appears

Fade Node [weapons\myweapons\sword4.nif] has an alpha value in the material property

Alpha value in Fade Nodes must only be done by textures.

(these aren't the exact messages but are very close, my CS is not working well today)

Can someone tell me the problem.

I tried moving the unpacked files into the oblivion\data directory and now when i try loading one of my meshes the CS just crashes.

Probably because the person who made the weapon meshes didn't know what they were doing.
