TimCol59
Hi I did search for this specific problem as it is not an issue with the actual modse.g. any of the HUD mods for the purpose of making the compass smaller the pop up text when aiming direction at companions e.g. "Dog (command)"or place names - the thing is I used the clean HUD 2 mod and it worked forages.. UI Def works within the game using the miscellaneous tab (pip boy)and activating but this just removes elements of the HUD does not makethem smaller so they are not so HUGE and OBTRUSIVe (caps used toemphasize the point). Is there anything I need to do to get any HUD mods to work again please. Thanks Tim
damanding
I don't currently use any hud mods (though some of those using HudFramework look pretty sweet), so my knowledge on this is a bit more limited. However I know that anything that modifies the swf files is a common thing to be broken with updates. Sometimes it's just a matter of uninstalling the hud mods, manually making sure the swf files in the data directory are all deleted and then re-installing your hud mods. Otherwise, it's possible that one of them will require an update by the mod author. I suggest re-installing one at a time (unless one has a dependency on another) and testing them individually until you have made sure they all work. This will also help you determine if one needs an update.
SkullBunny69
Actually, DEF UI will resize everything for you. You have to go into the Data/Interface/ and click the "HUDMenuSet.exe". I can't remember which controls which, but Left Ctrl and Left Shift, one increases/decreases height, the other width. Hope this helps. I'm not using NMM, I'm using Mod Organizer, but all my HUD mods are working on 1.9.4 not sure what you're problem might be there. Hope this helps. Cheers. Sorry, you have to run the .exe and then mouse over what you want to resize, hold L.Ctrl, or L.Shift, and scroll the mouse wheel up or down. I'm probably explaining it badly, but once you get there and try, you'll see it's pretty easy. Or maybe I'm reading this all wrong, and you're not saying what I think you are at all? If not, here's a really in-depth tutorial for "how to DEF UI"... Cheers. Edited February 18, 2017 by Malachai6669
