Gohstly
Whenever I use the HOUSE 2013 ENB I get really dark loading screens, It wouldn't bother me so much if I didnt see it too often, but its incredibly nauseating.I tried updating ENB series but the ENB no longer works properly. is there any way to fix this? dubiousintent
First you have to fix your problems with "updating ENB series": presumably you mean from the ENB Download page using the "driverupdate.net" link? See the "Issue: ENB is not working" entry in the "Troubleshooting" guide" to make sure you didn't miss any steps when updating. (Treat it just like a fresh install. In fact, since the "update" went wrong, your best bet is to uninstall and reinstall ENB completely.) Loading screens are static images or a "slide show" of such images, using standard lighting. ENB expects the vanilla shader files. If you are using any custom ones, or have included any from other post-processors, you can expect problems. First, try disabling them and using just the vanilla shaders to see if that resolves the issue. Questions regarding how to use other specific shaders with ENB are best addressed to the ENB Series Support Forum. You might want to also try another preset. See the "Issue: Managing Post-Processor (ENB, SweetFX, FXAA) configurations" entry in the "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide for some suggestions on managing multiple presets. Other entries in that section of the guide cover common settings. -Dubious-
Gohstly
I tried reinstalling the newer ENB binaries and double checked to make sure I installed everything correctly but To no avail. I'd also tried installing the version suggested for the ENB preset on its own using only vanilla shaders, It had minimal effect on the load screen, but it made the game itself incredibly dark in the daytime. dubiousintent
Do you have HDR enabled? ENB requires HDR. -Dubious-
Gohstly
Yes. Also using a GTX 1070
dubiousintent
As I understand it, you only have the problem of "too dark" with the static/slideshow loading screens prior to loading a "save game", correct? Are you using the default loading screens that come with the game, or a mod added set? I'm not aware of an ENB setting that would only affect the lighting of the loading screens. I would expect an "odd" setting in either ENBLocal.ini or the video card controls to manifest during the game as well. (See 'Issue: ENB Nights are too dark, even with "nightvision"' in the "Troubleshooting" guide for the closest match to your problem.) Please refer to the S.T.E.P. Project ENBseries Guide pages for each ENB INI file for information regarding the purpose of each setting before electing to make such changes. It is easy to forget the changes to all files when testing various presets. Other than that, non-vanilla shaders (which we ruled out) are the only sources I am aware of. All that is left is to suggest trying a different preset or asking on the ENB Support forum for help. -Dubious- Edited February 26, 2017 by dubiousintent

dubiousintent
Speaking of "overlays", try disabling any you have running (i.e. OverWolf, etc.). -Dubious-
