I've been working on a project for awhile now about trying to create a custom body where I can take vanilla clothes and adapted them to the new body. My problem is I can't seem to get it into the creation kit without the kit crashing. A buddy has told me it might be something I did with the weights for Skyrim SE. The tools I've been using are bodyslide and nifskope to help get this mesh into the creation kit. I've taken two different meshes and combined them into one, but I'm wondering if that has created a conflict and messed up the weight values for the bodies. I know I need weight paint and I have blender, but does anyone have any good tutorials or advice on what weight would be needed for the creation kit to recognize the body and clothing? Could I adjust the weights in Bodyslide or Nifskope or would I need to go into blender in order to create the right weights for Skyrim SE.
