cptmorgan0812
Asrock p67 extreme 4 16GB rip-jaws DDR3 @ 1600 2x HD 6970 2GB each card, crossfire enabled i-7 2600k @ 4.2GHzCooler master HAF series casePLENTY OF FANS, no overheat issue :) OK does anyone get there ridiculous stutters when looking at a wall indoors or looking at anything close to you while in a building? And its not just indoors, outside I get these stutters when looking at let's say,a group of trees. It stutters like hell! and the next minute, it's gone! back to 120+ FPS which is what I usually get with my PC. I'm using the Sky Boost mod from this very website, which helped the performance in town areas greatly. Anyone have a potential fix for this stuttering? Too much RAM? Thanks. seweryn
I would suggest defragmenting your hdd, diskeeper is a good program for this ( one of the best ). If that doesn't help you could try deactivating mods one by one. Cheers,Sew
pchclx
i stupidly had Preemptively Unload Cells=1 in my .ini thinking it would be beneficial, made my game stutter like crazy. maybe not the same thing as what you're having though.. i too will get crazy slowdowns/stuttering when looking at something close, for example looking down at the ground while walking forwards or on stairs. Sarimae
If you have got Windows 7 , check if defragmentation is automatically enabled, when AFK for 10 minutes. If yes, keep it that way, so you will not to have to defragment it manually. The defrag of Windows 7 is btw. quite good, so no need for extra-software anymore, atleast not for home-computers. Which mods do you use ?
cptmorgan0812
I'm running Skyrim on a SSD. I heard you don't defrag those?
cptmorgan0812
Never mind guys, I was wearing the Krosis mask and once I took it off the frames are back to normal. Something with that mask was causing the stutters :/
