Brad1976
Hi. I have Oblivion on my desktop, however would like to use my laptop to make mods with. Is it possible to install a minimum number of files onto my laptop so that the construction set will work. The laptop is minimum spec for running the game - hence why I don't want to install the full version. Available hard disk space is no problems. Thanks in advance. Brad. GBHis
You could install Oblivion without running it? It worked for me when I installed the CS (without Oblivion), but I had to copy some files from the CD/other harddisk with game installed. (Oblivion.esm, the .dlls, the \Data folder) It's possible, but why not install the game? It can be useful for quick testing... (Even if it has framerate 0,5)
sleaaels
I agree with GBHis, it would make your life much more simple if you can test it out (on the go) after you make a mod...Unless your lacking in HD space.
Brad1976
Thanks for the reply people. Surprisingly the game works on my laptop - didn't expect that. However whenever I load the construction set it causes an error and shuts the program down. Not sure what that's all about but I suspect it's to do with having an unrecognised graphics card. But anyway, cheers, Brad
GBHis
I had the same problems. W2k + DirectX 9.c + CS == Trouble.
