No main menu --NOT a missing master.

Whatever it is, it isn't that. For one thing, disabling every last .esp doesn't fix it.

 

I recently decided to yank FOOK from my game. What with one thing and another, that lead to me doing a clean install all the way from the ground up -- I've now done it TWICE, in fact. Once in MO and again in in NMM, and no matter what I do, as soon as I have anything that touches the UI involved, the game will not load the main menu. I get the splash screen and then nothing.

 

I can only imagine it is an install order problem of some kind, but I'm at a loss to figure out what is driving it.

 

I don't see much point in posting a load order; I've tried so many combinations of this and that that my brain hurts. That said, I'm running the following

(FN with all DLC)

PN will all options

MCM with (and without, out of desperation) fix.

UIO

oHUD (And NOT oHUD)

HUD Extended (as above)

Advanced Recon

CASM for MCM

WNM

WMX (patches)

Weapon Mod Menu

UWHNV (patches)

NMC Textures

Fallout Character overhaul

And that's about it; there is other stuff i'd like, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

As you surmise, this is indeed an "install order" problem. Please read the wiki article "HUD-UI-Menu issues", which covers this and how to solve it.
