HideInLight
Finding it impossible to find the right difficulty setting, The problem is scales two variables at the same time, for instance I just want to take more damage because I'm finding my armor overly effective, but I don't want to hit enemies 10 times more just to kill them. Difficulty . Damage Delt . Damage TakenNovice . x2 . x0.5 Apprentice . x1.5 . x0.75Adept . x1 . x1Expert . x0.75 . x1.5Master . x0.5 . x2 This is what I would have preferred, the power of your weapons/spells and health of enemies being universal, while difficulty was determined by how easy/hard it was to survive. With the broken scaling of armor, I just can't find the right balance anymore. It kinda made be stop playing skyrim as a result. Difficulty . Damage Delt . Damage TakenNovice . x1 . x0.5Apprentice . x1 . x0.75Adept . x1 . x1Expert . x1 . x1.5Master . x1 . x2
enjelsama
Well, itlest if your on PC version it can be edited.I stick to lowest setting (novice or w/e its called now) I pretty much don't invest into Armor perks at start of game. I stick to clothes(maybe Gloves and Boots as armor) and don't invest past 200health. You'll 1-2 hit low level bandits for abit, And they'll still hit you pretty hard. (at 100 health you don't take a lot of damage (specially if you stick to clothes) Boss Will still put up a fight, and can pick you off if your not careful. Only danger (with 100-200 health) is that enemies can 1shot you via the execution moves. Around lv20 Boss with 2hands will off just kill you. >_< So a few point into armor start to help. That how I've gotten past the bad difficulty setting from Morrowind, to OB to FO3. Few changes to what you where and how much health you have can make it pretty interesting, and slightly more real.
