L3s7ing
The way I see it, you could devide between a gtx 1060 6GB and rx 480. Both cards perform very well, but have their strength and weaknesses. For me the rx 480 would be more futureproof (dx12) but that's mostly up to you to decide. If I get it correct: dx12 rx480 outperformed gtx1060 und under that (dx9 or dx11 etc.) gtx 1060 outperforms rx480. Atleast that's what if've seen so far. Nlghtcore
What do you mean? 1060 supports dx12 or i missed something?
L3s7ing
It supports dx12, but amd has better architecture (gcn architecture) for dx12.Amd uses in their new series parallel processing or also named asynchronous computing. It basically means that while nvidia has one "pipe" where all the tasks have to go through, amd's chips can use multiple pipes. However, these technique was never fully supported by direct until dx12 and vulkan came out. And cause it's hardware related nvidia can't just fix it by updating drivers ... sadly ^^I said that amd gpu's outperform nvidia gpu's, not that nvidia gpu's don't support dx12, sry if it sounded wrong (not my native language). However in dx12 the gap between these two gpu's can be minor, if the game isn't well optimized for asynchronous computing. But in many of the newer games (with dx12) amd gains some pretty heavy fps boost through it. Edited March 6, 2017 by L3s7ing
Nlghtcore
I did not know that, thanks. But i guess when d12 will be useful, i will have my own gtx 1400 ti. By the way, about my qustion... If no one knows how much fps i can have with 1060 I think i will buy gtx 1070 and will try to upgrade other hardware.

A GTX 1060 should be able to get around 60FPS @1080p on ultra/max settings in most games (As long as you haven't installed a ton of high-res texture mods on said games) In my opinion, a 1070 is best paired with either a 1080p 144Hz monitor or a 1440p 60Hz monitor.
