You learn something new every day

I have played the game for almost a year and yet still I find new bits of information. Two I found last Sunday and yet I'd played the quests many times before.

First I was given some exquisite shoes by 'New Shoes Bragor' and secondly I found out that there was a journal entry attached to 'On Wan' (the slave hiding in the back of the Argonian mission).

Have any of you found that when you thought you'd done just about everything, there was a little surprise that you'd missed?

yep, i have, the most supriseing for me was when i was in search of "Skull Crusher", i had learned of its location (not gonna tell exsactly where cuz that would be a spoiler!), upon aproaching the door i learned i could not acess it due to a few large peices of rubble blocking the door, then after hours of searching i came back to the door..... and wadda ya know i look across a small inlet form the ocean, and theres an ascestral tomb.... so i say what the hell might as well look, and to my suprise it lead in to the ruin that contained the "Skull Crusher" :D

In fact I did.

When Ranis Athris gives the quest to Punabi and Sulipund, I usually kill both Manwe and the Telvanni other one in Sulipund. A few days ago I discovered that I can actually convince both to pay guild dues and join the guild. The problem seemed to be my personality level. That was a surprise!

Not only is there a ship in that tomb, if you float up through the roof over the ship, there's a Daedric Face of God and many, many powerful items.

I've found out recently that Piernette, best known only as living near the Destruction master trainer, has a fascinating and unique quest attached to her. If you find a sliver plate in a cave [near Pelagiad] with someone's name on it, speak to the locals of Pelagiad to discover that it belongs to her. Give it to her for one mercantile point and free entry to the Imperial Cult. Not really worth much, but still fascinating and unique. Gives you a good feeling, too.
