AuroraMoon Posted February 26, 2017 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Just got this idea, and I wondered if it was doable. Picture this: There's a computer in a building. But there's something different about this computer. So You access the computer, and it lists options to alter and upgrade the buildings in any way you choose. You still need to use up resources and money to upgrade the building though. the way it works is very similar to other games like Saints row where you could upgrade your buildings that way. I think this would work well in areas that had a lot of old buildings, etc.... places that I always thought would be good places for settlements or even just running a business. for example... that hubris comics building. Why not "upgrade" that building and turn it into an actual business and living area? Of course this would have to be after you cleared out that building and already collected everything needed for your quests. This way it would be like a mini-settlement of sorts.... Hell, It could even give that sliver shroud fanboy something to do after his sliver shroud quests were over. I'm sure he would LOVE to live in the place where the sliver shroud radio series were created. The computers would be like a smaller version of the workbench, but with more features on it. doing this with default settlements could be difficult, unless somebody found a way to place those "building computers" and have it not conflict with any custom buildings you had in the area?
