I edited the Prefs.ini too,but still nothing.(But I downloaded a mod not from Nexus and Its working perfectly.) So, I don't know, what to do now,I'm raging about it for almost 3 days, please help! (mods I tried to install:- Wars in Skyrim IV- Midas Magic- A Quality World Map - With Roads- Enchanted Night Skyrim) -> I run Windows Vista 32-bit, UAC disabled. akhen
Have you tried installing them manually instead of using NMM?

akhen
Try this: - Install the mods manually (make sure the textures, meshes and .esp files are located in the correct directories).- Instead of just starting Skyrim, open up NMM and tick the mods you want activated.- Close NMM and launch TESV.exe in the main folder. Let me know how it turns out. edit: Also, what did you change in your Prefs.ini file? Edited January 25, 2012 by akhen
uhksev
Prefs: C:\Users\Vista\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SkyrimPrefs.ini | bEnableFileSelection=1 TESV.exe has stopped working.

akhen
What version of Skyrim do you have installed? It could be conflicting mods. Try installing only one at a time, see if it works that way.

akhen
I have version 1.1.21.0 and Now I reinstall the game and try what you are saying. :) While you're at it, don't forget to update Skyrim to the latest version, 1.3.10. Bethesda has also announced that a new patch, 1.4, will be released by the end of this month, which I'd also recommend.
