SkyEdit problems

Hey guys,

Just recently downloaded the SkyEdit application for editing esm's and stuff.

 

Try to open it, then it cant locate the bsa files. When i go to resource Viewer, down the bottom, it says stuff like " ERROR: Failed to open the file '{PATH}\data\Skyrim - Interfaces.bsa' in mode 'rb'! "

 

 

Would be very greatfull for any help ;)

Where is Skyrim installed and where did you put SkyEdit?

my skyrim is installed in: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\ and SkyEdit is on my desktop

If for some reason SkyEdit doesn't read the registry key properly (has happened to me) you can go into the skyedit.ini change the file path (see below).

^ remove this semicolon (in front of SkyrimInstallPath=) and change the path to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\

Have Steam verify your game file cache for Skyrim, sounds like corrupted (or edited?) main game files.
