somerandomsheepthathops
Once you find the Mod you want to download, drag the contents (Esp file, meshes, textures, etc.) Into your Data folder. The Directory should look like this: C:/Programfiles(May vary depending on where you have steam, in my case its in Games)/Steam/steamapps/Common/Skyrim/Data. After that Launch Skyrim, activate the Esp files and enjoy. Happy Modding! (If this does not help let me know and I'll give you a link to a video on how to)

paraleyes
There is a Mod Manager that works great for me. It is very simple to use it and should be no problem to install a mod.I made my first modding steps with it, no problems yet Many mods cannot be installed with the mod manager. See my mod descriptions for very detailed instructions on: How to install mods. How to uninstall mods. How to create and make your own mods.Lists of resources and how to use them to do so! DragonPriestHelm HD Mask Replacers - with detailed HOW TO!This mod as per an example can be installed with the manager, but MUST be renamed to work for your chosen mask worn by your character. My goal is to make it very easy for anyone to create their own ideas and share them here on the nexus, even with very little PC navigation/directory experience! :) Has helped many already! See my comments! :)
SkyrimNexuss
Ahh, thanks. Good to know it. The mods I've activated (just texture mods) are activated with the mod manager and like I said no problems.
