Copy Floor - Floors Layouts

Okay, I really hate the waste of time in building "Sim City" - Settlements. I really do.

 

Is there a way to create a mod, where you build 1 floor plan, ( ie: Main Floor and 2nd Floor and so on.

 

Then you get it exactly how you like it .... Carpet - lighting and such - Bedroom walls and such.

 

Then you "copy" it and paste it as many times as you wish, around your given settlement.

 

Then all you do, is put the finishing touches of, pictures, plants, furniture and such.

 

Or is this more complicated then I think it would be?
