...SNIP...

on both my xp machine and (my normally not used for browsing)Vista machine all the other nexus sites are behaving much better. I haven't done a complete check but the main pages are behaving normally - and the mod pages look normal as well.

Thanks again.

Great news.. its sorting itself out nicely then... as if I had any thing to say about things  Edited by Apprentice Harper

It is good news - but I guess in may haste I didn't make it clear that skyrim nexus is still broken on both machines, but the other nexus sites seem OK. Maybe it will have sortted it out by tomorrow. I will recheck then. Thanks again for your help - I had totally forgotten about firefox safe mode.

One last thing to try... you probably where using skyimnexus most and thus your Web cache may be holding lots of faulty stuff from the first time things acted up so I'd say your Temporary Internet Files may be corrupted and need a purge

Tried everything none to man on what you guys are saying, and still can not get to the new IP's. ones that i have trouble getting to is forums and skyrim. think it has to do with high traffic and new IP addresses not handling it. just saying. seen this before on other sites when they try to change addresses and when in fact already they are popular and the new ones cant handle the mass amount of people coming on at once. imo the servers need upgraded at least on skyrim's nexus and forums. not much traffic anymore on the others cause not many people are playing those games anymore. i for one have not touched dragon age in months.

Been tried several times including using ccleaner; also verified my ISP was not using a proxy server and checked for hidden ISP caching. No luck. Thanks again.

just tried a big file download and I am logged in but as soon as I try a server I get

Dallas, USA (9025 users)

downloads/dl.php?file=ModOrganizer%20v0_9_5-1334-0-9-5.7z&fs=fs4

Safe mode and internet cache and cookies all tried still not able to download large files as a nonpaying member. redirected to login page every time even though I am logged in.

UPDATE: even in safe mode the cookies preference of Firefox may prevent the proper COOKIE acceptance for the file server page or site. I solved my issue by allowing all cookies so the correct server page would load then I white listed the page for session cookies....

It seems that Skyrim FUXUS as I called it is NEXUS finally, because it works! YAAAAY! But if it stops working again... I'll probably do an ARROW TO THE COMPUTER.

EDIT: Nevermind, cannot use the worthless site AGAIN. Does Skyrim Nexus hate foreigners? Or swedes? Whatever it is, NOTHING HELPS.
