Upgrading my old PC

Recommended Posts

Hi, as I just explained in my introduction post. I'm getting back into PC gaming. ATM I'm using my Laptop to play, but it's not ideal. I've got a desktop which I don't use but I'm thinking of upgrading it. So I wanted some input if you guys think that it's worth me upgrading or should I just buy a new unit.

The Machine is a ACER ASPIRE x3200, which house's a AMD Phenom x4 (9650) Processor. I was thinking of increasing it's ram to 4-6GB and maybe installing a PCI-E Graphics Card. What do you guys think?

You can install new ram but a graphics card will be a problem as you can only put in a low profile one.

The best low-profile graphics card is the radeon 6670, it will play skyrim on somewhere between medium and high

This is the most powerful card for your system
