macaren15
I am making a mod with a new worldspace and one of the cells started to crash if I put NPCs in it, than other cells started doing it as well, I was using several resouce mods in my mod and when I removed the meshes of these mods the crashing cell cells worked properly but not long after, these specific cells started to crash again, I also tried to switch from using windows 7 to windows XP on another computer which also made the crashing cells work properly for a while but eventually they started to crash there as well Also: these cells are crashing only in the Geck, when I actually test my mod everything works fine Any help will be appreciated Edited January 25, 2012 by macaren15
GrindedStone
You need to clean the mod. Webinsized FO3/FNV edit guide by CSB @ Nexus Creating a mod often gets it dirty, this is even more prone to crashing in New Vegas than FO3. Now how many modders know this an how many mods are there out there? Scary isn't it?
Jeoshua
It's terrifying. Every time someone tells me "I have a problem and these are the mods I use" I download another one I've not yet looked through... and find dirty horrible unclean stuff that should never have found it's way into a released product. And that's GOOD ones.
wizzydizzy
Miax also uploaded the 1.2 version of his tutorial to the FNV-Nexus: http://www.newvegasn...le.php?id=38413 It's streamlined for use with FNV. Although there are references left to some 1.1 screenshots, that have not made it into 1.2. Edit: And there are Gopher's 8 tutorials on modding, of course. Part 5 is what you're looking for. macaren15
I resolved all conflicts in my mod and cleaned it up according to the instructions and the crashing cells worked well only once and then stated to crash again It seems that everything I tried solves the problem for about a day and then the problem comes back, even if I didn't do anything Edited January 27, 2012 by macaren15
GrindedStone
You could upload only the .esp .esm an have someone look at it. What version of windows are you using?

GrindedStone
Well, if you're not sharing. Make a back up an start removing groups with FNV edit. Start with navmesh for example. Remove something, test it, remove something, test it, until you know which group it's in. You loading multiple masters? Is any part of this data converted from another game? Have any meshes had havok data changed/created?
