Ansonr
I just recently installed OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul for the one person who didn't know by now) and I am no longer able to run oblivion at all. I try to start the game and it acts as if it is going to start up for a second, the screen turns black, then it goes back to desktop no error messege or anything. I installed 1.33 Complete with the .exe installer btw. Any help is much appreciated.

bben46
OOO requires OBSE (Oblivion Script Extender) without it What you describe is what happens - however it can be caused by other things as well. OBSE is not a mod and is not installed like a mod. You MUST read the instructions to install it. also, it must be started before Oblivion every time - use the OBSE launcher that comes with it or one of the other launchers that launches OBSE then Oblivion. I use the launcher built into OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) OBSE http://obse.silverlock.org/ OBMM http://timeslip.chorrol.com/obmm.html Wrye Bash http://wrye.ufrealms.net/ I do not recommend Wrye Bash for beginners. However, It is an excellent program for more advanced computer users.
