The shameless self-promotion thread

Since this part of the forums is full to bursting with interesting new projects in development, I thought we might benefit from having a centralized topic with links to websites and threads of major WIPs. If you're working on a mod and want to promote it, simply post a short description below (three lines or less, please!) and give us the links to all pertinent information. I'll keep the first post updated with new information as you provide it.

No pipe dreams, please! Don't post it if you can't or won't try to build it.

MODS IN DEVELOPMENT

Atvir Dres - The Last Prince of Tear: A fully-voiced companion mod based on the popular "Companion Vilja" model, Atvir will completely change the way you think about followers in Skyrim. Atvir has a mind of his own - he'll sneak off, start fights, insult your wife, and can even begin working against you! With multiple storyline arcs depending on your race, creed, and actions, Atvir will breathe new life into your gameplay experience.

Basilica del Sole Nascosto - The Church of the Hidden Sun: This mod will start out pretty much like many others want to do, as a Vampire System Overhaul. The author has discussed some of his ideas in the following threads, started by Vannixii and Jakisthe, but outside of that, they are not working on the same mods.

Belua Sanguinare - Revisited: You know how being a vampire is awful in Skyrim? Well, this mod looks to turn it around with a complete turnover on what it means to be a creature of the night. More levels, more skills you've read about vampire having, and an overhaul to the way such a storied creature is played. Revolves entirely around lore, both from literature and TES, and gameplay mechanics meshing with how a vampire would truly act. Become mist. Walk up, and through walls. Suck light and life from all around you. Be the night. Part of a very large project to create a war between vampires and werewolves over the future of a city.

Kind of Blue: A strange and eccentric Imperial nobleman, Count Caerulius, lives in Castle Gorm, deep in a forest away from the hustle-and-bustle of the cities of Skyrim. He loves the color blue. Hand-picked by the Count are his female bodyguards, each having some variety of blue to them. He is an avid botanist and herbalist but secretly uses magic to experiment on the plants and fungi he has collected. When the player meets him for the first time, he asks that the player visit the Shrine of Namira to get a cutting of a rare plant that grows close-by: the Furfafen plant. Upon returning with the cutting, the Count's next request becomes a little more questionable.

Link is in my signature. All that is needed is a monster and an armor model. That's it. Once that's done, all that is required is to string up the quest.

Awesome idea! Though I'd go ahead and reserve one or two more posts to paste into in the future as you might run out of space very fast :P

That's not a bad idea. I'm not sure how much text one can fit into a single post, but I'll take your advice and grab a couple of early posts now for later edits.

Ignore this post and my next one, everyone.

Mostly game ideas till CK comes out, but regardless:

And, although this is the very definition of a side project, I'll put this here too...in

Acrobatics/Athletics and Spear/Dagger Trees Perk Trees! You remember these...and here they are! In concept form, at any rate. That's right, the classics are back with a whole new active revamp, allowing you to play how you've wanted to all this time.

I'll bite... lol...

I have no primary thread, but my mod is a ... hommage ... if you will, to a novel I had begun to write about 20 years ago on the creation of vampires, and basically pulls from the lore that I either developed or included from other vampire legends and metaphysics.

Name: Basilica del Sole Nascosto, loosely translated "The Church of the Hidden Sun".

It will start out pretty much like many others want to do, as a Vampire System Overhaul. I have discussed some of my ideas in the following threads which were started by Vannixii and Jakisthe but outside of that, we are not working on the same mods.

I wish I had more meat around it, but considering it's mostly an overhaul at this point I haven't decided on whether I want to implement a "Guild/Coven/Clan" quest line.
