Load Order Question

Sorry if being asked before...

 

First, please excuse my English. Its not my first language and im on my Cellphone atm^^;

 

Last time i downloaded a lot of Mods was years ago with Oblivion, so i forgot everything.

 

My Question is: Is it required to load a Mod's Master file first, and then the other files from the same Mod? (obviously but im not sure) Lets say i download Imps more Complex Needs. It got 4 Esp's. 1 Master and 3 others. When i load the Master File first and the others right after, everythings fine, but if i load the Masterfile LAST, only the half Mod is working. Is it the same with all Mods that got more than 1file? Also, is BOSS 100%reliable when it comes to autosorting? Because i did that, and Imps Complex Needs didnt work as it should...

 

Is there a List or Tutorial, that tells me which kjnd of mod i have to load in order. i.e. overhaul, weapons, locations etc.?

How did you manage to load an .esm after an .esp file?:confused:

 

Anyway, BOSS will sort recognized plugins. The output should present you with a list of unrecognized plugins, you have to manually sort.

And yes, .esms have to load first.

Of course, the readmes feature suggestions on load order as well, although it's practically impossible to match all of them.

Sorry i didnt mean esm. i meant a esp that is needed to load BEFORE a 2nd or/and 3rd esp from the same mod.

If you're unsure, load your mods into FNVEdit. It will report any errors due to missing masters.

That's an indication, you have to modify your load order or add a missing mod file.
