Low FPS...advice?

My FPS is so low that I am astounded that I can actually play the game with relative ease lol. The highest it gets is 31 on loading screens...the lowest is sometimes 4 or 5 lol. I have been playing Skyrim on pc for just at a year now, before that I'd play Sims, WoW or Dragon Age when I wasn't playing Skyrim on console. So needless to say my knowledge in all things computers is very ignorant to politely put it. So with that being said I don't really know how to shop for a graphics card, apart from going and randomly picking one. Based on my computer info (that I will list below) could anyone help me in advice on the do's and don'ts of graphic card shopping?

Cybertron

AMD A4-6300 APU with Radeon HD gRaphics 3.70 GHz

8 GB RAM (931 GB in memory in total)

64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

could be your load order [ that would mean reading the mod info ] or could be a conflicting mod, mostly for me this is what was causing frame rate problems, also only playing a year and also not very good with computers I have 2gb ram and not as much memory and run 90 mods , making it conflict free and correct load order is a big deal in fps hope this helps

I read all mod info before I download and read the first page of comments just in case. I also use LOOT and MO, to try and help minimize issues. I have around the same amount as you do I think. But everyone I have talked to says it's my graphics card. But I will go check to make sure. Thanks for the advice.

Looks like you need graphics card or another PC with powerful specs. If you don't know much about PC, you probably better off buy powerful preassembled PC rather than upgrading your current PC.

Buy PC with 16GB RAM, 1080 ti gtx Nvidia graphics card, and 7th gen intel core i5.

I had a couple of mods with stuff in I didn't know it supplied, consequently causing conflicts because I had the same mod running twice but didn't know can't remember what was conflicting now but my frame rate is pretty smooth with a Lenovo pc so I don't believe you need to spend more money on a mega high spec pc [i also play with a joypad] and some mods don't like that but its still pretty smooth, say...do you use motioninjoy for joypads [i to play on console] my bought for pc joypad didn't play without it but was buggy as hell and then stopped altogether so got pcsx2 and used my playstation pad and my game is much improved, and the pad works better too

Try this program as well . On top of the advice already mentioned You have to pay attention to texture sizes of the mods you are using . Many of the mods coming out now are running 2 to 4k textures . If you are running a monitor that is running basically 720p there is not much reason to have your textures above 2k and visually 1k will work with out much noticeable change . One of the biggest hits texture wise are body texture replacers because they replace textures across the npcs. Texture management is just as important as load order 1 to 2k textures are good for most systems . 2 to 4k a high end system with good monitor to actually see difference is a must . This will fix fps .

512 to 1k basic system

1 to 2k low to medium system

2 to 4k high end system

When you install mods you can sometimes get a way with 1k to 4k mix and match but this will lead to peaks and valleys with vram . Try and keep texture sizes consistent across the board . The program I linked will help and there is ini update for it as well on nexus .

The main reason for such low FPS isnt your installed mods or load-order.
It is your lowend-processor whith integrated GPU, which are not maded to play games, work with graphic programs etc.

The CPU is older as an I3, and the integrated GPU is lower as an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400.
Better look for a new pc or laptop. Yours is realy outdated and was purely maded for only office work.

honestly ,I have a Lenovo 5oogb memory 2gb ram, amd e 450 and made in 2010 ,also not made for playing games straight from a shop and with 90 mods 7000 added animations and my frame rate is ok ,should I get another pc too? [don't answer that] my point is your computer can handle it ,its something else ,and as annoying as it is finding the problem is what will make you happy

Its mainly his integrated graphic card which will always be the neck of a bottle.
I would have the same if i take off the graphic card and try to play only with the integrated.
An unmodded game is possible with very low settings, but as long you have installed mods with things like weather, lightning, water, reflexions, bigger textures i'm sure an integrated graphic card cant handle this without extremly frame drop.
He said he have in startscreen around only 31fps. Thats a true sign that the integrated card runs at limit and cant handle more.

Some things he can do without getting a new card:

- lower resolution to play
- lower settings (shadows as example, set as very low or off), things like AA take off
- take all mods off and look how the game is running (with a fresh save), install mods step by step and look after every again how the game runs
