Mod manager help

HOWSE

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I got the Nexus mod manager and had it auto detect my Skyrim directory, but when it asks for my username and password I get an error message. Obviously my info is correct because I'm here. What am I missing?

I have this exact same problem, first my skyrim sound got all f***ed up then Skyrim would not load up at all and now Nexus Mod Manager says my "login information is invalid" but it IS VALID because I use the exact same user name and password to get onto this website and forums.

Somebody plz help us fugire this out.

Oh and everything was running perfectly less than 12 hours ago so wtf happened in that time to destroy my game?

Do you have any special characters in your password? To log in to NMM you need to have only letters and numbers, no special characters like ,"$# etc. If you do just reset your password in "My Settings".

NMM is acting up today. I'm having the same issues. Using the same log in I use to write this letter. I'm sure someone will find the problem.

HOWEVER!!! NMM only adds the files to your data folder. If you haven't uninstalled any mods thru NMM. Then all your mods should still be in the data directory. Just launch skyrim and check your data files option.

It seems there is no solution at the moment, here's a quote from the site owner:

This will be related to the new domains and cookies we've rolled out across the sites. Kenneth has a new version of the client almost ready to go, so if you cannot login please be patient and a fix should be out very soon.

I think you'll need to wait for a new version of the client. By the way, my suggestion is to set NMM to remember your login (when you actually manage to login), that way you can avoid these kinds of problems.

Thanks to everyone. I'm glad it's not just me
