"Tag For Search" mod, feature from Fallout 4

In Fallout 4 when you're using a crafting table of any kind, you're able to enable "tag for search" which will then display a magnifying glass next to the title of items that contain materials you want to craft whatever it is you want to craft. I'd like this to be added to New Vegas as a mod but I'd also like to know whether it's impossible to make due to hardcoded UI parts of the game.
