MrBuio
Mini guide to take action-shots, with or without a DOF-like effect (Depth of Field, but it's more like a blur of objects outside the center of screen). This might have been posted before here, but I didn't find any with a few searches. To take a screenshot, use Steam (F12 I believe), the in-game function (Print key) or any other means like Fraps. Pose your character or setup, cast spell or any do any action. You have to be in third person perspective (or else you wont see your own character in free camera mode.Open the console with the key to the left of 1, it's tilde ~ on English keyboards I believe. It differs, on my Swedish keyboard it's "§". Opening the console will pause the game (in-action). Type TFC 1 to activate free camera and freeze the game.Type SUCSM 1 for slowest camera speed. Value can be 1-100 for different camera speed.Close the console with ~ and move your camera around with normal movement keys and mouse. Find a good camera angle.Open console again. Type TM to hide the UI completely. When you hide the UI, you wont see your typing/actions on screen so just do them slowly. Take a screenshot now if you want without DOF-like effect. For a screenshot with DOF-like effect, hide the UI like above with TM. Then close the console with ~ (it's invisible, but you must close it). Now press TAB to get the DOF-like effect and then take a screenshot. The effect is from the compass-menu you get with TAB, but as the UI is invisible, you only get the DOF-like effect. To get back, open the console ~ and invisible type TM. UI will come back when you press enter.Remove the free camera with TFC 1 again. Close the console and you should be back in your character I got the DOF-like effect idea from Reddit (don't know if poster were first who discovered it).http://as.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/mxp7i/how_to_add_easy_depth_of_field_to_your_screenshots/ Below is an example from my Khajiit character.http://i.imgur.com/WDHE3.jpg PS: The dagger in my screenshot is DaggerCraft - XIVs Bloody Shanker by faxivcm http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6462. It's one of his five, but the mod with all are under review currently. I also use Coverkhajiits by MrLensky http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5941 PS2: I typed from memory/experience, hope I got it correct.
