Hsc
I guess I missed something very obvious and fundamental, but I'm stuck in the Dome of Udok (clockwork city). If I operate the rusted lever, which is supposed to close the bridge, nothing happens. I already looked at some walkthrough and all I find is that just using the lever should work. One walkthrough indicated that you need at least a strength 100 (which I have) and using spells and potions I boosted this to over 170. But it still doesn't work. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
Almelexia
You are not doing enything wrong, the level has a bug in the older versions, download the newsest patch for bethesdas site. It will help you but more bugs will come to the game than correct.
Magatsu
I had the same problem, 120 in strength and it didnt work, then i used a Fabricant potion that increase strength and it worked. Try drinking one or more of those then try again..
cmac
Download the patch. The rusted level is bugged, so that it does not recognise that the player has 100 strength or more. I believe the level that activated the Karz-Bcharnd also has the same sort of script, but is not flawed.
Hsc
Thanks for all replies. Unfortunately neither patching nor pushing the strength helped. I had a closer look at the script which controls the lever and I assume that somehow the state of the controlling variables were messed up. I added two lines to this script to reset the variables and added this as a mod. Now the lever works 8) Maybe the problem is caused by my strange setup. My Morrowind version is in German and Tribunal is an English one. To fix this, I just ordered an English Morrowind version and I will to a fresh install of everything, apply the latest patches and then start from scratch. What is the best order for a new installation? Is it(1) Morrowind, patch Morrowind, Tribunal, patch Tribunal, Bloodmoon, patch Bloodmoon or(B) Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloomoon, patch Tribunal, patch Bloodmoon

It has both Morrowind and Tribunal. And it also has the latest patches in it already.
