Hi guys,

I want to make a alternate RP start without being Dragonborn. So my question is, how do i disable the main quests? And is this possible if I already at the Bleak Falls Barrows quest? (got a bit carried away)

Thanks in advance.

Don't go to Riverwood. If you don't get sent to see Balgruuf, the main quest series won't start and there won't be any dragon stuff. Even if you do, just don;t talk to Balgruuf anymore and the dragon stuff won't start.

Being the mod talk forum, and sounding like he's working on a mod, I imagine he's looking for a way to disable it entirely, not just tell people to avoid it. But yeah, knowing how to disable the quests once you've already kind of kicked if off is difficult to know without having access to the quest engine, heck disabling the quests even before kicking them off might be difficult without that.

Found out something for you while researching some other information from UESP. I don't know that many people would edit their .ini for this purpose, and I imagine once the CK is out there'll be a better way to do it but take a look at this link. Specifically at the bottom where it states Example for using a Batch File to create an alternative start.

Good luck!
