Help With Uninstalled ENB

So, I had an enb, but in the end, decided I didn't like it because it made nights and interiors unplayably dark. I used ENB FXAA SweetFX Manager and completely removed everything with it, including d3d9.dll. But, I'm a little confused,

1. Ingame brightness doesn't work, I've always had it the highest but turning it down doesn't do anything.

2. Nights are still a little too dark because I play on my 1920x1080p monitor but it faces towards the windows and I have blinds in my room which don't even block the light properly so light reflects onto the monitor. Now, this isn't a problem when I'm uncomfortably hunched up with my back straight, I can see fine. But, like any other normal human being, I like to be comfortable. Try going down low, your monitor gets dark, right? I don't go down low, but I'm small so when I sit normally it just does that..

I can't for the love of god figure out how to get this chair to go up but my armrests are directly under my table at all times anyway..

So, basically, how do I make nights darker? My brightness is all the way up.

I went into skyrim folder and searched for enb and found this..;

The enb I had is Vibrant ENB (VR-ENB) which has a unique install process, different from ENBs like Grim and Somber.

I installed as it said apart from enb files since I deleted all of them anyway..

Do I have to verify my skyrim's game files or what? Also, my skyrim still has the custom sky and effects like looking at dark shadow areas light them up and looking at the sky darkens it so it's not a white blob. I don't want any of this. Just pure vanilla.. apart from custom sky, it looks pretty cool.

Summary:

huw 2 fix brightness plox?

EDIT: I have a backup of skyrim, completely vanilla, but uh, I have about 150 mods downloaded and don't feel like downloading them again (also because my internet would get used up completely if I did) So could I like, backup my NMM mods safely, restore skyrim backup and have it completely vanilla, then restore my NMM backup, then put my save in there and everything would be fine and dandy? I sure hope so..
