popvirus2
I have a question (and a suggestion, maybe) about user/modder/tool/process interface (for lack of a better word). Question is: Does a animation process flow chart....graphically represented as in block diagrams....exist for users new and old alike to view/use? Yes - point me to the right direction. No...continue on... As an old retired anal retentive engineer, I found the process flow/decision/charts we used most helpful and eliminated a lot of questions about what goes where and when it goes there, and what other ancillary items/processes are required/effected. databases are wonderful things as you all know... My job as an analytical engineer involved a spreadsheet (for ease of use), that had calculations, decision making processes in each of the required cells....left side of the sheet was for hard entries....right side of the sheet was for the calculations... I provided the blank hard input side of the spreadsheet to the boys/gals, they filled in the blanks, and gave it back to me...all automated of course. it would be a chore to keep up with all of the changes and it would definitely put more work on the mod designers, unless there was a standard input file (which I assume there is) that could be used for real time update of the process flow diagram.... any interest in something like that....I don't know if I have the knowledge nor "friend base" on the site to be of any use... I am not worried about time since I am retired/divorced/no kids and very happy....like an old Animals song (singing) Ti...I...I...ime is on my side...yes it is.... have a great day all... Pops you know after posting this I was thinking...this sounds a lot like the logic LOOT uses, and I dare not criticize something I know very little about...however, at this time, LOOT does not meet my needs.... Thandal
This topic belongs in the technical forums for whatever game is involved. Unfortunately, there is no indication of which game that might be. (The Nexus supports almost 400 different ones.) Or, it belongs in one the forums dedicated to modding software tools. In any case, not in the general *site* "Feedback, suggestions and questions" forum.
