Satoshi_Yuki
Its something thats been bothering me, isnt Skyrim an Elder Scrolls game? Why isnt it part of Tesnexus but rather a new nexus all its own?
buddah
Because of the anticipated size of the site was the big reason.....and that is the way Dark0ne wanted it to be.
Pronam
Tesnexus has about 25,000 files for oblivion (preserved after 6 years) and another 2.300 for morrowind (preserved after 10 years). After just close to 3 months Skyrim already passed the 5,000 files :psyduck:. Keeping the nexus's separate for almost each game offers its own top 100, tags, fotm, categories, images and news provides a better overview per game. If they would be one merged site it would be more difficult to find the right files of the game you actually have or currently play. Tesnexus is just a combination because it is the oldest site. The reason Dragon Age didn't split is because it has few files compared to most other nexus sites. Skyrim is already big and is likely to have more files than the Tesnexus site, keeping them together would go :nuke: on overview/simplicity. calyps
They did that with DA2 and it was...painful (though I understand, the community and mod support was much smaller). People are still modding for Obilivion and it would just get confusing.
Nephenee13
Its confusing enough to have Morrowind mods still pop up in what is now 95% an Oblivion mod area, having Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind all jammed together in the same place would be a complete disaster for any number of reasons. Really, "TESNexus" is "OblivionNexus" for all intents and purposes.
Loxus
Should split all the games. One morrowind nexus, one oblivion nexus, one dragon age nexus, one dragon age 2 nexus and so on.
