NMM Won't Open

Had a mystery issue with my computer, and now Nexus Mod Manager will not open. I have run virus scan, malware detector, conventionally restarted computer, conventionally shut down and started computer, downloaded updates to NMM. Planning to uninstall NMM and re-install fresh.

 

Two questions: 1) Will I lose mods I've already got? 2) Will uninstalling, and re-installing NMM, FUBAR games using those mods?

 

Since I use different sides of the same "app" for both Skyrim, and Skyrim SE (and yes, I still play both... not all the mods I use in Vanilla are available in SE) loosing saved games would be pretty traumatic.

I had same kind of an issue, seemed like something was wrong with NMM 0.63.13, so I found a installer for 0.63.12 which works perfectly and I didn't end up losing any mods even though NMM did the start setup again, just select the same places you installed it's files previously and it should work like a charm and do not update it to 0.63.13 afterwards.
