ChynaSkye
Hey guys & gals!I'm familiar with modding setups and Gopher's videos have helped me learn the most. My issue (and yes I've searched the forums already) is that i have 2 main drives. My C: drive contains all the basics windows, programs files etc. My D: drive is where i want to put all my game files. How is the setup different from using one (C:) drive? This is a very new computer that was built for me for gaming purely. I followed normal directions from Gopher's videos like i have for several years now, but when i go to play, it does not recognize my mods now that i have NEXUS installed. Thanks for the help in advance! :)
AGreatWeight
In NMM, you need to ensure that it can see where your mods are stored.Open it up, then click on the settings icon (the two small cogs) and then click on the Fallout 4 tab (the last one, on the right)From here, you can specify what drive you want NMM to place the mod directory (where they are downloaded, located) , where you want NMM to store the Fallout 4 install info, and also where the Fallout 4 directory is (for you these would/should all be on your D drive)If you still have issues, it might be due to using the latest version of NMM, which is end-of-line and no longer supported (the dev team are creating a brand new mod manager) A lot of users have had issues using it where some or all of their mods are not working in-game.However you can still download one of the previous fully working versions https://github.com/N...anager/releases 0.61.21 is a recommended version to use that is pretty stable so shouldn't cause any issues.Hope this helps.
