MofoMojo
So 20 minutes later I tested the theory that it doesn't work and Sunnie is right. The reason is because that MGEF in the enchantment is meant for something else and the enchantment itself also has some different parameters that need to be changed. So... here's how to fix that. Edit your copied Enchantment (you did copy it right???) and set these parameters: Charge 0 Type A: 0 Type B: 0 Type C: 0 Type D: 6 Staff Mod: 0 Now edit the effect by changing it from TGO8BInvisibilityEnch to InvisibilityFFSelf. I set the Magnitude to 0, Area 0, and Duration 1 although I don't think the duration matters because it's a constant effect. Leave the condition as IsSneaking == 1. -MM Edit: Here's a source on the enchantment bits until the CK is out and you don't have to guess what they are:http://www.uesp.net/w/index.php?title=Tes5Mod:Mod_File_Format/Magic_Item§ion=4#ENCH It was useful in understanding why the enchantment didn't work outside of having the wrong MGEF applied. 2nd Edit:I didn't go so far as to make it a recipe... 3rd Edit: Where did the file go? Something nefarious? Edited February 5, 2012 by MofoMojo
MofoMojo
Exousia4869. I never saw you reply to this so I hope you don't mind but I went ahead and uploaded this to Nexus. It can be found here. BTW, I ran into an odd problem. I don't usually like using the original MGEFs so I copied InvisibilityFFSelf and referenced it in the Enchantment, as well to change the description of the ring. Problem with that, is every time I used the copy the enchantment broke. I was using SkyEdit and it was driving me nuts so ultimately I broke down and used TESVSnip 4.0 to copy the MGEF, modify the description, and change the enchantment reference. That seemed to fix the issue. I would have released it earlier, but didn't want to release it using the original InvisibilityFFSelf effect. -MM

MofoMojo
Awwww, I thought you named it Sunnie's Ring of Woe! :laugh:/sadpanda Lol!!! I had but then I was worried that it would come across being ... disrespectful. And darn if it's still not acting 100% right. -MM
Sunnie
I had already gone through that whole process weeks prior, so I know all about the problems with getting invisibility to work as a sustained effect without having some wonky issue. Once I have my hands on the toolset, it will likely be an easy fix to make it work as Chameleon did in TES4 (though with 100 sneak, a full perk tree and silencing and sneak enhancing gear, you can be invisible to everything and everyone in broad daylight.!. Alas poor tuesday you're in my sight, only Monday I will be blind. My poor right eye has driven me mad, and the left has lost it's mind. Hopefully I'll regain my sight enough to work on the CS Tuesday with a day off for recuperation. -MM
