LF 'Realism' Mod

Hey all!

 

I did a quick search of the forums, and I could not find anything close to what I was looking for, so I'll ask here before I consider making a request. :D

(After re-reading, this does sound request-ish, but please don't treat it as one. If you know of a mod that does this, let me know. I'll eventually put a request in the proper request forums if this mod doesn't exist.)

 

What I'm looking for is a 'realism' mod. Not realism appearance wise, but gameplay wise.

What I mean is; sword hits will be near fatal, and surviving more than two would be highly unlikely. Same goes for arrows. I'd love if this incorporated where you got hit (ie, head wounds are much more fatal than body/limb ones), but I doubt that's possible with just a mod.

Heavy armour would obviously give more survivability than leather, but not the the extent where I can charge through a mob of enemies while wearing heavy and come out barely scratched. Or, if possible, make it so that crushing weapons affect heavy armour more than slashing ones, but once again, I don't know the limitations of modding.

Also, weapon material/tier/quality wouldn't have that much of an impact. Iron sword slashes are arguably just as painful as steel ones, the steel one maybe doing a bit more.

You'd have to assume that offensive spells are just as deadly, as I couldn't imagine surviving a blast from a ball of fire.

 

 

Cranking up the difficulty is not what I'm looking for, as it makes the enemies hit like trucks but you hit like a wet noodle.

 

Maybe what I'm looking for is someway to adjust the amount of damage weapons do manually, and decreasing the amount defenses give.

 

Does anyone know of anything even remotely close to what I'm looking for?

There are quite a few realism mods purportedly being worked on. Do a search in this forum with realism and you should find most of the threads, but some don't have a thread title that describes what realism they are cooking up. Edited by Sunnie
