ohGr Posted January 15, 2004 Share Posted January 15, 2004 uhh, animating a player getting on a guar, and riding it will be insanely hard, youll have to be a mathematical genius to get it right, and of course, you need to know what your doing, i think g-max and 3ds let you animate 3d models...it isnt easy...i cant even get a finger moving properly. Geonox Posted January 15, 2004 Author Share Posted January 15, 2004 hmm yeah I know I think I leave the animation which you have to climb up but the riding animation will just be a new walking animation instead of moving the legs and arms the character will have a sitting pose and goes a bit up and down and such....the animation will only work when you are sitting on a guar....the guar will keep his normal walking animation and such.... I think the animations is a bit hard to make but if you download a tutorial from Rhedds head you will have some basics animations. Or atleast near... Geonox Posted January 15, 2004 Author Share Posted January 15, 2004 yeah I know redheads tut but that one is only for animating the face but I have another tutorial from LadyE about making new walking animations and such but there aren't any pics in the tutorial (hmm I hate that coz if I don't understand were to find something in 3d max I can always look at the pics they help alot)...so mabey if someone knows a better tutorial that would be great otherwise i have to do it with this tut...but I'm going to check if it works :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
