Problem with exporting from 3ds max 2017

So I was finishing up my repair of Starlight Drive-in, and exported it with enpinion's updated plugin, and for the most part it worked great. However, there is one small problem:

The strange thing is, I didn't actually touch those parts. I had a few instances when I had that seem to happen in 3ds max, and I know what caused it, but I don't understand what is going wrong. Is there some setting I am doing wrong that I am not realizing, or is this a problem with the exporter? I never had this problem working in 3ds 2016. Exporting it as a .3ds file so I can import it into 3ds max 2013 and use the official exporter works fine as well, no black polys.
