kevkiev
I recently noticed that sometimes, when I build a store, the cost sometimes isn't what it should be. For example, I just built a weapons emporium at Somerville and it cost me 528 caps (should be 3k) then built a surgery center and it cost the correct 1800 caps, but then built a clothing emporium and it cost 950 caps (should be 1000). I first noticed this yesterday at Greentop, when I got a weapons emporium for free. Oddly enough, after I scrapped that store (felt like a too big cheat to keep) I built another one that cost the correct 3k. I just noticed this, but who knows how long it's been going on since I usually don't look and just hear the ca-ching of the caps cost. (The lack of any sound is what made me check yesterday. But the freebie thing could have happened before too I guess.) I have only 2 mods that affect stores, one's a simple mesh/texture replacer (Better Vendor Stalls with clutter) and the other is "Happy Stores" which is a scriptless mod that grants weapons/armor stores a happiness bonus and redoes the happiness bonus numbers for all stores. But there's nothing in that mod, according to FO4Edit, that changes the costs or anything else except the records I mentioned (and there's no conflicts or other weird looking things) and no posts in the mod's thread mention anything similar. And, when I disabled the mod, the strange low-cost thing still happened. Couldn't find anything on Wiki or elsewhere on the 'net about any vanilla bug like this. Anyone else experience this? Did I pick up some weird perk along the way without realizing it? (I'm not aware of any perk that does that and I don't have a perk mod.) Maybe I shouldn't complain and just donate some the extra caps to some wasteland charity?
