Matso
Hi,For some time I got extreme lags while I am walking inside any interiors. For the first time I thought it is ENB but the lags still appear when I turn it off. Is it that game or the graphics drive I have installed (290.53 for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti)? Bless You,MK
Rennn
Try turning your shadows down one setting. From what I hear, shadows have a chance to cause lag on ultra, especially indoors, even if your pc should theoretically be able to run it perfectly. My GTX 460 never catches any lag. Sometimes when I turn up the shadows and enter a room I'll just be lag-crushed, and other times it's fine. It must be a shadow problem. I hope this helps. Those drivers are generally really good for Skyrim, btw, so I doubt that's the problem. Edited January 29, 2012 by Rennn
Werne
Probably shadows, they tend to produce a huge ammount of lag, especially if you have an older comp like me. You can edit some lines in your SkyrimPrefs.ini, the ones I edited to reduce lag are these: iShadowMapResolutioniShadowMapResolutionSecondaryiShadowMapResolutionPrimary By the way, you can turn off shadows by changing iShadowMapResolution value to 0.
