Azbod
I know the construction kit is due very soon but is it possible to sticky a list of tools that people use to edit skyrim? Many people have used other programs to make mods already and will probably continue to use other software after the CSKi think this would be a useful for all the noobs ie meh :) for starters SkyEdit "SkyEdit is a third party replacement for the Construction Kit, similar to MwEdit for Morrowind. It is currently in early development stages." https://github.com/downloads/uesp/skyedit/SkyEdit0.05a.zip Gimp "GIMP is a versatile graphics manipulation package" http://www.gimp.org/ Edited January 29, 2012 by Azbod
Werne
I use FOMM's TESSnip along with SkyEdit for adding new models since SkyEdit can't do it. For 3D Modeling there are a lot of programs but I prefer Blender, it's free and easy to use but somewhat "limited" compared to 3DS Max, Maya, etc. There are also tutorials on how to import/export Skyrim models with blender. And NifSkope is a must-have when it comes to modeling since it's required for blender's import/export of Skyrim models.
