cecil101 Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Im trying to attach imported weapon trishapes onto armor for aesthetics. I can get the weapon in, weighed, parented, and textured... in blender it will deform properly in pose mode and everything. when i export, and load it up for testing the weapons sit in one place, they dont move at all, no matter what the character is doing (running, crouching,etc.). so im looking for help on how to get it to deform properly. heres what i did.to get it in and out.First in Nifskope i deleted everything except the main root node, the weapon and scabbard sub nodes, and their respective trishape datas.imported in blender. made adjustmentsassigned materials and texturesparented to armatures, and weighed themchecked for deforemation in blender under pose mode. it worked wellexported everything, made the proper adjustments to import into skyrimgot into skyrim, then :wallbash: happened.... lol any insights will be more than welcome :) thanks in advance.
