redneck1st
Ok I'm currently working with a new game that I've been testing mods with and was wondering something. I've heard that it's not good to remove mods while playing a game as you might break something. But I've recently been wondering something as I play through adding mods he's is what I've been doing. 1. Play through the modded game for a while. saving the game as needed. After testing a batch of mods say 5 or 10. I would make a Named save using the console. Say TEST I would them Make another save and exit the game.2 Add 5 or so more mods test them out for an hour or more and if everything works out console command save TEST2. Wash rinse and repeat as long as there is no issues.3. Now if there is an issue with a group of mods Say CTD's or texture issues or what have you. I'd exit the game. Uninstall the last group of mods fully. re run LOOT and SSEEdit and reload the last NAMED save for which i made using the Console. i.e. TEST2. But before I load the last NAMED save I delete any saves that I made after it. Then load up Now since I didn't; have the last group of say 5 or so mods installed when I made the console save TEST2 for example and didn't load it. does that mean that any saves for which I had before TEST2 are safe and not affected in anyway by the last group of mods for which I had to uninstall? since they weren't loaded at any time after I had loaded/and removed the last group of mods? Another words would any saves be messed up if they weren't opened up with the mods installed; for which were later uninstalled? Thanks for any help/tips for which you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated.
